I, Dad, was reading to Anna last week and we had to count some things, so I took her finger and pointed at them in the book and counted them. The second time we did this she became a little frustrated with me. Recently she’s just pretended to count, mimicking us. But this time she suddenly counted from 1 to 10! It was like she had learned overnight. I’m still knocked out when I hear her do it.
We went to New York City yesterday to see the dinosaurs and marine life (and pigeons) at the Natural History Museum. But not before munching on burgers, fries, and shakes from the Shake Shack.
After the museum we went down to Tribeca to meet Uncle Dirk who was in town on business. We had some pie and coffee at Bubby’s then went to a park at the river where the kids played in a giant sand ‘box’ and climbed up everything.
